About The Company
Cardima, Inc. (OTC/BB: CADM) develops and manufactures medical devices to diagnose and treat cardiac arrhythmias, which result from abnormal electrical currents within the heart. While addressing the most common forms of arrhythmias, namely atrial fibrillation (AF) and ventricular tachycardia (VT), Cardima primarily focuses on commercializing products for the treatment of AF through ablation, a revolutionary treatment approach that creates lesions on the heart to disrupt the electrical current. Cardima’s products include the Surgical Ablation System for open-chest surgery and the REVELATION® T-Flex electrophysiology (EP) system as a minimally invasive approach. Both systems incorporate a microcatheter-based surgical probe coupled with the INTELLITEMP® Energy Management Device that uses coiled electrodes to deliver radiofrequency (RF) energy.
