Dr. Bogdan C. Maglich
Chairman & Chief Scientific Officer
Dr. Maglich has a Ph.D. in high-energy physics and nuclear engineering from MIT, an M.S. from University of Liverpool, and a B.S. from the University of Belgrade. He was a Professor of Physics at the University of Pennsylvania, Rutgers University and the Joint Faculty Princeton-Penn Accelerator Lab. Dr. Maglich was a team leader at the CERN European Center for High Energy Physics, Geneva. He worked closely with Nobel Laureate Luis Alvarez and Vladimir Zworykin of RCA, the "Father of TV".
Dr. Maglich's work on particle physics and detection instruments resulted in the discovery of 4 new elementary particles and major inventions including neutron photometry and the filmless spark chamber, now used in all laboratories worldwide. He also developed the methodology for detection of micro-effects with an extremely low signal-to-noise ratio. He holds a patent on "aneutronic" nuclear fusion energy, and is the inventor and patentee of the Atometer (1998) and the Neutron Microscope (2000).
Dr. Maglich received a White House Citation from President John F. Kennedy for his discovery of the omega meson and was named Honorary Citizen in Switzerland by the President of the Swiss Confederation for his work on non-radioactive fusion. He took part in the State Department program on the conversion of Russian weapon scientists to peaceful research. In addition, Dr. Maglich served as a Special Representative of the US President to Yugoslavia, and as the Chairman of the USA-USSR conference on safety for Soviet reactors in Europe.
Thomas R. Pascoe

Mr. Pascoe is an experienced chief executive officer with a strong background in technology and management of development stage companies. Mr. Pascoe was most recently an independent consultant providing growth, technology and turn-around consulting services to a variety of clients. During this time, he served as Interim CEO for RFID Technologies and repositioned the company from a single market technology provider to multiple markets.
Mr. Pascoe also provided strategic fit assessment and growth by acquisition strategies to a software provider with more than 13,000 clients, and strategic consulting services to a major publishing company. Prior to working as an independent consultant, Mr. Pascoe served as President and CEO of Web Symmetry, COO and Executive Vice President of Tickets.com, and Vice-President-Manufacturing of Iwerks Entertainment. Mr. Pascoe has an MBA from Pepperdine University.
Among other accomplishments, Mr. Pascoe led and grew an ASP from 30 clients to more than 1,000 and increased the company's annual revenue from less than $1 million to more than $50 million in three years culminating in a successful IPO. He has also been actively involved in 11 acquisitions as well as numerous rounds of financing totaling more than $260 million.

HiEnergy's technology remotely determines the chemical composition of concealed substances, including explosives, biological weapons, and illegal drugs. "Stoichiometric"
means detection that deciphers the chemical formula of unknown substances. HiEnergy's stoichiometric detection systems are the first in the world that can decipher the chemical formula of unknown substances through barriers including metal, in real time. HiEnergy's technology uses a special method of Tagged Fast Neutron Activation analysis, which bombards the unknown substance with neutrons and reads the unique gamma ray signature that is emitted.
The laboratory model of HiEnergy's SuperSenzor has retrieved from 3 ft away, in a matter of seconds, the chemical formula and 3D image of explosives through steel or soil; of cocaine through rice; or of anthrax through paper. The MiniSenzor, a compact portable model currently being tested at the University of California at Irvine, deciphers the empirical chemical formulas of substances non-invasively, trans- barrier and online.
