Hartung, Chris

Hartung is a Managing Director and Senior Research Analyst in the Financial Services Group at NationsBanc Montgomery Securities. Hartung follows real estate investment trusts and real estate-related companies. His current research coverage spans the commercial real estate sectors, and is particularly focused on the apartment, office and retail sectors. Hartung also closely follows the West Coast and California economies. Hartung joined NationsBanc Montgomery Securities in 1996, and was promoted to Managing Director in 1999. Prior to joining the firm, he worked at J.P. Morgan in New York. From 1990 to 1993, he worked as an Associate doing product analysis and consulting, and from 1993 to 1996 he was a Real Estate Equity Analyst. Hartung earned his BS from Cornell University in 1990. He is currently a member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Urban Land Institute
