Lampert, Mark

Mark Lampert is the Founder and General Partner of the Biotechnology Value Fund, LP ("BVF"), a San Francisco-based, private investment partnership with more than $200 million in assets focused on the biotechnology industry. Prior to forming BVF in 1993, Lampert was a Vice President at the investment banking firm Oppenheimer & Co., co-founder of Biotechnology Royalty Corp., and worked for Cambridge Neuroscience and G.D. Searle & Co. Lampert is a Director of Sabratek Corp., Mendel Biotechnology and Athersys, Inc. He holds an AB Degree in Chemistry from Harvard College and an MBA Degree from Harvard Business School.
