Keynote Speaker

Adams, Michael

Michael Adams is Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Everen Securities which he joined in November 1998. Prior to that he had been at Dain Rauscher for nine years. Adams is recognized for his ability to manage client stock and bond portfolios and was named in five of the last six years to the Dain Rauscher Chairman's Council. He began his career at Paine Webber as a traditional stockbroker in 1986 and moved to Dain Bosworth (now Dain Rauscher Wessels) in 1990 to concentrate on portfolio management.

Adams has a Master's Degree in Business and Bachelor's in Mathematics. Adams began his professional life in the aluminum industry in 1967, starting as a management trainee, working up to spend five years as plant superintendent. From there, Adams owned and operated two businesses; a dairy supply business and a technology company recovering low-grade waste heat for conversion to energy.
