Squali, Youssef |

Youssef is a Managing Director and Senior Internet Equity Research Analyst at Ladenburg Thalmann & Co., where he focuses on Internet companies. Prior to joining Ladenburg Thalmann in January of 1999, Mr. Squali held various positions at Laidlaw & Co. during a six-year tenure. Most recently, he served as a Managing Director in the Research Department as well as a member of the firm's commitment committee. In this capacity, he ran a six-analyst research department, which covered companies in technology, emerging market equities and global high yield. Prior to his focus on technology, Mr. Squali co-founded and co-marketed the Morocco Fund, a $100 million limited partnership, and helped run the Covenant Fund, a $10 million socially responsible open-ended investment vehicle. He created and co-authored the "Emerging Markets Quarterly," Laidlaw's 10-country overview discussing the economic, political and stock market outlook in select emerging markets. Mr. Squali received a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Hartford, a Bachelors of Science in Economics with honors from La Sorbonne/American Business School of Paris, and a Baccalaureate in Mathematics and Physics with honors from Lycee Moulay Youssef in Rabat, Morocco. In addition Mr. Squali is trilingual.
