Kropp, Jim

Jim Kropp is a Managing Director at Christopher Weil & Company, Inc, an NASD Registered Broker-Dealer and an SEC Registered Investment Advisor based in San Diego which serves high net worth individuals throughout the United States. An affiliate, CWC Asset Advisors, Inc. serves as the general manager of a number of private equity funds including Realty Enterprise Fund LLC, Realty Enterprise Fund II, LLC and CWC Realty Income Fund. These funds invest in the debt and equity of REITs and real-estate related companies, including small-cap and micro cap REITs not typically covered by mutual funds and institutional investors as well as non-REIT operating companies with substantial real estate ownership.

Jim has been a financial manager and business executive since graduating in 1971 with a BBA from St. Francis College and completing the MBA/CPA preparation program at New York University in 1973. Since 1981, he has concentrated on real estate accounting/finance as well as management and investment. He is active in the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts and is a past member of the American Institute of CPAs real estate accounting committee.

Prior to joining Christopher Weil & Company, Inc. in 1995, Mr Kropp’s 30-year business experience included positions as: audit manager with Arthur Young & Company; vice president of Morgan Stanley Realty, Inc; Executive Vice President of Harlon-East Properties, Inc.; and Managing Director of MECA Associates USA.

Jim serves on the Board of Directors of PS Business Parks, Inc. (AMEX - PSB), US Restaurant Properties, Inc. (NYSE -USV) and Madison Park REIT (private) as well as the Real Estate Advisory Council of California State University, Northridge.
