Chapman, David

David Chapman, BA, FSCI, has over 20 years experience in the finance and investment sectors. His career began in 1971 with the Export Development Corporation, where he held the position of Senior Treasury Officer. He moved to Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce in 1982 and served as Assistant General Manager and Chief Dealer, International Money Markets. David was Vice- President, Money Markets and Foreign Exchange, at Confederation treasury Services Limited from 1991 until 1994, when he joined Market Street Investment House, a forerunner of Westminster Securities Inc. He joined Union Securities in October 2001. David's views and opinions on the markets can often be found quoted in the Financial Post and Globe and Mail and is a regular guest commentator on ROBtv - Report on Business, and a columnist for the Investor's Digest of Canada since 1997. David is also a director of Bullion Management Services, Inc., owner of the Millennium Bullion Fund, a Canadian mutual fund trust investing equally in gold, silver and platinum. He is a director of Hudson Read Asset Management Inc. and is a Vice president of the Hudson Read Genuine Hedge Fund Inc.
