CircuiTree builds enthusiasm and generates revenue with Vcall Webinars

The Client: Established in 1987 as part of the BNP Media family of publications, CircuiTree Magazine is distributed to owners and operators of printed circuit board facilities worldwide. It features articles on the business aspects of the industry, technical papers, columns, and news. CircuiTree is entirely focused on printed circuit board and includes new product information and trends in the industry. Distributed monthly, CircuiTree has over 12,000 readers.

The Challenge: CircuiTree wanted to generate revenue through the Internet, exclusive of its print advertising. It also sought another channel through which to promote its events, such as conferences and online properties.

The Solution: CircuiTree is using webinars delivered by Vcall to build enthusiasm for its events and Web sites and create revenue via the Internet. Through interactive webinars, they are able to promote, detail and recap events for paid attendees.

CircuiTree also sells sponsorships for industry and business-focused webinars.

As part of some webinars, whitepapers that appear on CircuiTree's Board Authority (www.conferences.bnpmedia.com/CT/TBA) were outlined in order to gain audience interest and drive traffic to the site.

The Results: CircuiTree has been able to drive attendance to events and web sites thereby increasing revenue.

The webinars have enabled CircuiTree to collect contact information from prospects and to track attendees from start to finish. Seeing who attends the webinars and what industry they are from has given CircuiTree insight into their readership (split 60/40 percent between technical and business markets) and what content should be considered for the print edition.
